More Than Beauty. A Self-Care Experience.

TES Body Essentials was born from a desire to serve my community through wellness, education, and self-care.

Originally, my goal was to become a Black doula. As I began studying holistic wellness, I found myself diving deep into the world of natural herbs, oils, and plant-based ingredients. What started as an interest in supporting women and families quickly grew into a passion for understanding how natural ingredients could support not only our physical well-being, but our emotional well-being as well.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, emotions were high. Anxiety, uncertainty, stress, and fear affected so many people, including those closest to me. As I continued my studies, I learned that many herbs and oils offered benefits beyond skin and hair care. Many were traditionally used to promote relaxation, encourage emotional wellness, uplift mood, and create intentional moments of self-care during difficult times.

At a time when so many people were searching for comfort, healing, and ways to care for themselves, creating products felt like the perfect way to serve my community in the present moment.

What began in my own home started with creating products for myself and my family. I focused on addressing our everyday needs—dry skin, hair growth, beard care, and creating simple moments of self-care that helped us feel good both physically and mentally.

As friends and family began trying the products, word quickly spread. What started as a personal passion project grew into something much bigger. Customers began sharing their experiences, recommending TES Body Essentials to others, and supporting the brand from communities across multiple states.
